I use a variety of software as part of creating this wiki:
- The Wiki is Mediawiki the same one that Wikipedia uses.
- Editing is done in Microsoft Word with a custom macro to convert to Wiki markup. (Contact me if you'd like a copy of the macro.)
- Dragon Speaking Naturally is used to dictate a lot of the text on this site. Dictation software is now quite effective.
- PHP coding uses Netbeans PHP
- I use Visual Studio for my Windows (C\#) development.
- I find Dropbox is great for both sharing files and for providing critical backups.
- I host my site on Linode
