View source for Protein Powder Contamination

A [http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/magazine-archive/2010/july/food/protein-drinks/overview/index.htm July 2010 Consumer Report] test revealed that a number of [[Protein]] powders are contaminated with Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead and Mercury. I found this highly disturbing as I have been using one of the worst contaminated protein powders recently, EAS Myoplex. The [http://eas.com/safety EAS Myoplex web site] responded that two servings a day are below the maximum safe limits, but did not refute the Consumer Reports testing. I have discarded my supply of EAS Myoplex and now only use [http://go.fellrnr.com?id=35454X937677&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB000QSNYGI Optimum Nutrition’s 100% Whey Gold Standard] and their [http://go.fellrnr.com?id=35454X937677&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FOptimum-Nutrition-Protein-Chocolate-Supreme%2Fdp%2FB002DYJ0M0 Casein]. I considered the purer proteins shown below, but they are cost prohibitive given my budget.
